Privacy Policy

This policy describes how PDF Merger handles information when you use the website. Last updated: 21 August 2026.

Files you upload

PDF files are uploaded so the server can merge them. We do not use the contents of those files for advertising, profiling, or training machine-learning models. We do not provide a user account, so we do not attach files to a personal profile.

Each job is stored in a temporary folder. When you download the merged PDF, the server copy is deleted. Files that are not downloaded are removed automatically within about 10 minutes. Cleanup also runs in the background for leftover work folders.

Server logs may record technical events such as the number of files, total bytes, and whether a merge succeeded. Logs are not intended to store document text or file names as a product feature.

Cookies

The site uses a short-lived cookie to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. That cookie is required for the merge upload to work and is not used to track you across other websites.

Advertising

If the site operator enables Google AdSense, Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, including automatic ads. Google’s use of information is described in Google’s privacy policy. You can learn more at Google’s advertising pages. We do not style or hide advertising frames in a way that would block legitimate ad display.
